POLICIES GUIDING THE USE OF HARTMAN CENTER
The following policies shall be in operation for all who use the facilities at Hartman Center:

There shall be NO alcoholic beverages, NO illegal drugs, NO firearms, NO fireworks, NO pets (excluding service animals), NO food or beverages to be consumed or stored in sleeping areas (bed rooms, cabins, etc.), NO smoking in buildings.

Please recycle whenever possible. We recycle Plastic (#1 & 2 appear on the container in a triangular shape), aluminum, steel, glass, paper and cardboard. Please wash out all containers and put them in the appropriate bins. Please try not to use Styrofoam products, use paper products whenever possible but the ideal is to use the plates and dishes in the buildings and wash them. Groups using Hartman Center shall abide by and honor accepted standards relating to the use and care of the environment.

Furniture, utensils, mattresses, equipment, etc. are not to be moved between buildings without permission from the Resident Director. PLEASE RETURN EVERYTHING TO THE PLACES YOU FOUND IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

If you are hanging things on the walls, please use painter’s tape so as not to leave any residue on the walls.

Recreational activities shall be appropriate to the designed space and facilities used.

Except for organized and scheduled group activities, ALL persons should be in their designated facilities by 11:00pm, earlier if instructed. Loud noises or other disturbances will not be tolerated.

Each person shall be responsible for leaving his/her living facility clean and undamaged. The Group Leader shall be responsible for checking living and program facilities prior to leaving Hartman Center. Repair or replacement charges will be assessed the individual or group responsible for reckless or careless damage.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE, PLEASE....
- Check room and restrooms for personal items!
- Place all garbage in appropriate receptacles; put plastic, glass and metal in marked recycling containers, take all other trash to dumpster (adjacent to basketball courts)!
- Leave the room and the furniture as you found them!
- Close and lock windows; close main doors! (you know ...if you open it, close it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you unlock it, lock it; etc., etc., etc.)
NOTE: Please make these policies known to your group(s) prior to and upon arrival at Hartman Center.
